Let’s have a giveaway!

Last post I gave you a peek at my new mini-hutch. Thanks to my obsessive stashing I’m out of room and literally cannot stuff in anymore lace yarn. I figured my *ahem* problem could benefit someone else. Are you looking for some free lace yarn? If you answered yes, you’re in luck!! I have a grab bag of yarn ready to find another home and eventually needles. Please leave a comment anytime between now and midnight August 17 2011 (US Central time). I’ll use a random number generator to select the winner on the 18th. I should go ahead and mention that I have a pet-friendly home. I do my best to keep cat hair off my yarn but I figured I’d let you know just in case. Mom, don’t worry I have a separate bag just for you ;)  Here’s what’s inside the bag:

Five skeins of Knit Picks lace (1 Shadow, 2 Gloss, 2 Shimmer) and two Baruffa Cashwool. Please only leave one comment per person. Feel free to tweet and reblog this post. Good luck!

  1. This wool looks beautiful. I’m sure it would love to come to my house.
Thanks for the opportunity to win it.

  2. I love knitting with lace, but don’t get any laceweight yarn in India. Whatever little I knit with is bought from US and mostly from KnitPicks. I would love to give your yarn a new home. Since you are already being so generous by giving away yarn, I wouldn’t want you to spend a fortune on shipping, so I will find a US address, in case I win this giveaway.

  3. would love to be in to win, I have some laceweight here that it could get to know and be comfy with for a short time until knit up. We can’t get any of those yarns over here.

  4. How generous of you! I’m loving the colours! I hope whoever wins enjoys the energy of generosity as they knit or crochet these into some gorgeousness!
    Blessings to you!

  5. How generous of you to share your stash! Please count me in for the giveaway. No worries about kitty hair – don’t mind a bit of extra insulation. Thanks for the chance to help you de-stash.

  6. I haven’t been reading your blog long, but I already love it. Your idea for storing yarn is one of the best I have seen – a hutch is so great for displaying yarn without it getting dusty and mixed up. Thanks!

  7. What an astoundingly generous bundle of beautiful yarn. We are so fortunate you didn’t opt for one more drawer on the mini-hutch! Which looks great, especially the windowed area. I love keeping yarn on display whilst it awaits its fate, ummm, I mean while I work on other projects. I don’t have much in the lacewight area, more worsted, so a Great Big Thanks So Much! for this giveaway.
