New Year, New Yarn!

Happy New Year!!!

Let’s start 2012 with some free fibery goodness! As promised I’m providing another opportunity to win some free yarn! When I reorganized my yarn stash a few days ago I found several skeins that I know have more potential than just sitting in my yarn hutch. I’m offering these skeins up to one (1) lucky person who leaves a comment on this post between now (January 1st, 2012) and midnight US Central time January 7th, 2012. International visitors please don’t hesitate to enter as well. I’m happy to send anywhere in the world and all shipping costs are on me. I’ll use a random number generator to select the winner and make the announcement on the 8th. I should mention (in case it’s important to you) that I have a pet-friendly home. I do my best to keep cat hair off the yarn (everything has either been in a box or cabinet) but I figured I’d let you know just in case you’re incredibly allergic.

Here’s what’s included:

5 skeins Knit Picks Andean Treasure in Fog – light grey (2), Embers – red (2), and Mystery – dark grey (1)
2 skeins Louisa Harding Aimee in Color AIM-11 (grey) and AIM-04 (light blue)
3 skeins Louisa Harding Kashmir Baby in Color 01 (light cream)
2 skeins Cascade Ultra Pima in colors #3744 (green) and #3713 (red)
1 skein Noro Silk Garden in color #311 (green/pink)
1 skein Classic Elite Yarns Silky Alpaca in color #2419 (rose pink)

These 14 skeins could be yours! Please only one comment per person. Since I use a spam comment filter I do have to approve the comments of new commenters. Don’t let that discourage you, I will be checking frequently to approve comments as needed. Feel free to reblog or tweet this post. Let me know if you have any questions. Best of luck!!

  1. Oh my. Happy New Year to you too! You are offering a very generous giveaway, thank you for the opportunity. I’m fairly certain the Kashmir Baby or the Noro would be the first on my needles.

  2. Wow! What a fantastic give-away!
So many wonderful things could be created from this selection. I have my fingers crossed!

  3. Good Morning and Happy New Year to you. Blimey, that is a pretty amazing amount of yarn and I love the colours, please count me in. Hope that you had a nice end to 2011 and that 2012 is a good, happy and healthy new year.

    Take care and best wishes.

  4. Happy New Year! What an amazing way to start 2012!
I would love to win all this lovely yarn!
Have a wonderful year, and keep up the amazing blogging!

  5. Such pretty yarn! I’ve heard so much about knit picks, but can’t get it in England, as they won’t ship it overseas. You’re very kind, giving away all that yarn.

  6. Happy New Year! How nice of you to put your little odd skeins out for adoption. I’ve done this myself and I’m always happy to see the poor little orphans welcomed into somebody else’s stash-home. As for any kitty hairs, I just think of that as a little extra bit of insulation.

  7. Happy New Year. I have been dared to enter this by a kindred spirit (i.e. equally knit obsessed). I shall be sharing with her if I win. As I live in the UK and she in New Zealand, the yarn will truly travel the globe.
