A celebratory yarn giveaway!!

Earlier tonight I completed my last final exam for my second master’s, huzzah!! I figured there’s no better way to celebrate than by doing another giveaway! Over the weekend I did some spring cleaning and pulled out a few neglected skeins that I’m sure could be happier in another home. One (1) lucky person who comments on this blog post between now (May 7th, 2012) and midnight US Central time May 12th, 2012 (my graduation date!) will win the following 27 skeins of yarn. Yes, that’s right 27. It’s funny how taking out that much still made no dent in my stash. I’ll announce the winner this Sunday, May 13th.

[Edit: I just realized I missed a skein in the count, there’s actually 28 skeins total. I updated the list below to include the additional skein.]

As in previous giveaways, international visitors are more than welcome to enter. I pay all shipping costs. I also like to mention that I live in a cat-friendly home. (I try to caution people in case they’re seriously allergic, however, all of the yarn has been in a closet, box, or cabinet.) Ok ready for a few pictures?

Here’s what’s included:

1 Noro Silk Garden in color #337 (teal blues and greens)
2 Knit Picks Gloss Lace in Ultramarine – dark blue
1 Knit Picks Essential Sock in Grass (this yarn is now called Stroll per Knit Picks website)
3 Knit Picks Comfy Bulky in Flamingo – light pink
2 Knit Picks Andean Silk in Flamingo – light pink (1) and Fedora – dark brown (1)
2 Knit Picks Shine Worsted in Cream (1) and Serenade – dark purple (1)
1 Knit Picks Stroll in Playtime Hand-dyed
2 Malabrigo Lace in Geranio
1 Cascade 128 Superwash in White
2 Louisa Harding Twice Tweed in color 09 (dark brown)
8 O-Wool Balance in Natural (2 dye lots)
1 LB Collection Superwash Merino in Wild Berry (purple)

and then I found 2 more skeins that I wanted to add…

2 Classic Elite Classic Silk in color 6953 (red/pink)

This large haul could be all yours! Please only one comment per person. I use a spam filter and will need to approve the comment of any new commenters. I promise I’ll keep a watchful eye and moderate comments as quickly as I can. Let me know if you have any questions and good luck!! :D

Having just finished my NVQ 3 (it is a qualification here in the UK, equal to our A levels – mine was in Social Care – no where as intense as what you have just done, but for me, getting back into study after years of just being a Mum) I was so relieved when I had if all wrapped up and passed.

I love the colour of the Noro, and the O-Wool Balance.

Have a wonderful relaxing week now all the hard work is done for a while.

    Colette x
